Performing Arts Magnet Program Overview

Our Performing Arts Magnet partners with over 50 elementary school communities to cultivate creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong love for the arts. We believe that the arts have the power to transform lives by helping students develop new perspectives, see the world through different lenses, and discover a shared language through performance.

Through engaging and rigorous arts instruction, we inspire students to find their voice and explore a wide variety of artistic disciplines—whether as a future career path or a personal passion.

Elective Offerings Include:

• Theatre / Acting / Musical Theatre

• Orchestra/Band

• Instrumental Music (piano/guitar)

• Visual Arts

• Afterschool Arts Master Classes (dance, stage make-up, stop-motion animation, vocal workshops)

In addition to arts education, our program is committed to academic excellence. We offer differentiated instruction to challenge accelerated learners and tiered interventions to support students working toward grade-level mastery.  Our dedicated and collaborative staff work closely with families to support each child’s artistic, academic, and social-emotional growth. At the heart of our program is a strong belief in teamwork—because when educators, students, and families unite, extraordinary things happen.
